Tanita Scales

We no longer sell this scale.

We think the Tanita scales are best carat pocket scales in their price range. They are inexpensive, but accurate enough to be trusted.

Tanita 1230 Scale:

The Tanita 1230 scale reads to .01 carat and includes a tare function.  The scale measures 6.1" x 3.3" x 1.1". Comes complete with carrying case and four AAA batteries.

The 1230 can handle up to 100 carats (20 grams) and measures in carats, grams, grains and troy ounces.
The Tanita 1230 has a wind screen built into the cover..
The Tanita 1230 has simple controls. The calibration weight is stored to the right side of the easy to read LCD readout. Comes with a soft carrying case.
